St Andrew's is the holding company of HBOS Australia's credit insurance, life insurance and wealth management businesses.

St Andrew's began trading in 1998 by providing customers with consumer credit and mortgage protection. In 2004, St Andrew's opened a new life insurance company to offer customers a range of life insurance products.

St Andrew's has continued to expand its operations, offering wealth management solutions through its range of investment products and via its national network of financial advisers following the acquisitions of RACV Financial Services in 2005 and Whittaker Macnaught in 2007. St Andrew's also offers Cash Management Trust and Money Market Deposit products through financial planning industry and stockbrocking firms through BWA Managed Investments.
